Cello lessons

Every person has his reason to study music and that makes the personal goals very different for each student. I approach the student individually depending on his aspirations and goals in the short and long term.

Why study an instrument?
One of the most difficult challenges for any living thing on earth is the coordination of movements (that’s why everything that moves, has a brain). When we are learning an instrument our brain is facing various tests and challenges. This keeps us more awake and helps us to quickly solve problems, in our daily life too.
There is no age limit to start playing an instrument. It is only up to you.

How to study an instrument?
Studying an instrument is something that requires regular practice. It means that is more important how many times you put yourself with the cello than the duration of each personal rehearsal.
For example, in my lessons, I always mention the following story. Painting a wall from black to white.
Every day of study is like a layer of paint that you “print” in your brain and with time your wall will be white. But if you try to put only one white thick layer, the wall will be Grey color. I propose to my students a lesson per week, regularly, because intermittent lessons make things hard to improve with all our potential.

I use a “month” as a minimum unit to calculate progress in a student. Everyone can say that is slow progress, but when you are involved, time passes quickly.

What are we going to play?
To articulate our progress, we use repertoire. Depending on the goals of the student, I prepare a tailor-made repertoire to match the students’ intentions and achieve the agreed targets.
Besides being familiar with the Suzuki method, I also implement several compositions from other methods.

Where are the lessons?
